In our world today, approximately 75% of social entrepreneurs and change agents have no lived experience of what grassroots communities really go through. Hence, has shifted from solving actual root courses of community problems to addressing symptoms by merely using probabilities and generalized assumptions. Grassroots and rural community problems are proposed and mostly cosmetic solutions are developed to intervene in assisting these communities with the hope for change however unfortunately, the story of impact is not always lived. 

At SEDA through our lived experience with grassroots communities, we are changing the narrative, creating positive impact in our communities by raising change agents within these communities. We are working directly with youths and women in their own communities to create change by making them to become, and lead the change they want to see.  We employ sustainable solutions that reshape the lives of youths and women in rural communities, with the hope of Ending illiteracy, poverty, hunger, climate change and violence against women and girls. While ensuring access to safe inclusive quality education, technology and resource distribution in rural communities, promoting human well being, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable ecosystem services, we foster social entrepreneurship and sustainable economic growth, creating climate resilient communities.
